You can begin preparing for UPSC at any stage. This course teaches beginners on how to start preparing for UPSC from scratch.
Different IAS aspirants have different backgrounds. Some are working professionals, some are homemakers, some are undergraduates, some are graduates and some have just finished their school.
Everybody has a different time constraint. While some can spare only 2-3 hours for studying, others have 10-12 hours available for preparation.
Also, every candidate has a different study pattern requirement depending on where they are in their UPSC journey. A graduate who wants to appear in CSE next year would have a different study pattern from an undergraduate/12th pass/10th pass who would focus on building up their foundation.
Also, a working professional/homemaker would have to manage his/her time very expeditiously if they want to stay in the game.
The foundation course is created as per the needs, eligibility, age and requirements of different aspirants.
